Electrical Installation Condition Reports
Electrical installation condition reports suitable for landlords and homeowners. Here at IO Power we offer a same day service to assist with urgent inspections and we have engineers that carry out our day to day repairs who can be called out to any urgent enquiry, or even assist with the process of moving into a new home.
All of our engineers are fully qualified to the highest standard including the 17th edition amendment wiring regulations test and inspection certificate, they also carry a fully calibrated testing and tool kit.
We can contact tenants, letting agents and landlords. For your convenience, we can also arrange appointments and collection of keys etc.
Upon arrival at the premises our engineers will firstly present their NICEIC APPROVED contractor id badge, and then protect their feet with shoe covers. They will then explain the processes and tests being carried out and agree any limitations with you, (for e.g a fish tank that can’t be turned off).
Once everything has been agreed the testing will commence and the engineers will assess all the risks and isolation procedures and fill in a risk assessment.
Upon completion of the test you will be provided with a verbal and visual walkthrough of the findings and results. However, if you are not present for the test, a covering letter will be sent to you with the findings accompanied with the report and the quote.
A full test on the supply of your premises to BS7671 IEE wiring regulations including fuse board, wiring, fixtures and fittings (i.e sockets, switches, lights), earthing arrangements etc, the tests are thorough and the report you will receive is a 9 page document.
